Amendment 4 just passed. I texted Susanne Manning, one of the 1.4 million people who will now regain the right to vote, to ask how she was feeling. Her response: "I cannot stop crying. I am so tired, and SO HAPPY!" https://t.co/GmNCQQ3NbR via @MotherJones

@BrianKempGA and his supporters did not want to hear Matthew 25 either. Pastors prayed "I was a stranger and you did not welcome me" and were shouted down and thrown out. #asylumisahumanright#gapol#gagop
Spoke to pastor who interrupted Sessions.
Says he gets why AG would call Scripture an “attack,” bc “encountering Jesus” makes ppl see when they are an “obstacle to Jesus.”
Says protest is “in the Methodist, Wesleyan tradition…an expression of social holiness.”
Story in a bit.
A religious leader just interrupted Jeff Sessions and recited Matthew 25:42—43:
"I was hungry and you did not feed me. I was a stranger and you did not welcome me."
He was removed by police.
Another religious leader defended him.
He was also removed.
"I call on you to repent," a heckler interrupts AG Jeff Sessions, who is speaking on #ReligiousFreedom at @FedSoc event in Boston. Heckler quotes Matthew 25: "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink..."
