Just returned to our cottage from a wonderful Easter Eve service which started on Holy Island beach at 9pm. The joy of Easter, baptism and Eucharist followed in church. Now midnight and time for bed! With prayers for a joyful Easter to you all.
@MartinAtTheEdge Walk beyond the village. Keep going past the castle and enjoy the wind! Walk back to the church and climb the hill, the Heugh, to see the remains of a very early church. Take a hat and gloves!
