Recognizing other ppl exist is not the same as reassuring paranoid ppl that you’re who you say you are. Ppl safely saying they are trans or non-binary should make others worry less about gender surprises.

It is the pro-life movement that keeps using a broad medical term that applies to many situations to discuss intervening to end a fetal life & creating confusion and risk.

You may mean morally it doesn’t count as terminating a pregnancy but if abortions/D&C procedures are banned w/o very clear stipulations, it can mean all D&C procedures are illegal. That’s the point OP is making

@KeithMcilwain @matthewredrich Defining oneself and one’s terms is a significant act of systematic theology. Defining oneself mainly by your observations of others is a sign of deep pain and need for control related to trauma. Departing because it hurts to be together is ok to say too.

@KeithMcilwain @matthewredrich Sigh, yet you don’t see the irony in your response. Many Eastern Orthodox would indeed tell you that they define the boundaries of who is Orthodox, especially using a capital O. Just as you say it isnt owned by a branch and yet seek to be the authority defining it.

@GingerGray00 @Theholisticpsyc I have ADHD and I thought about that as I read the thread. Reminders for sone things are really helpful because I do forget or not see things. But repetitive complaints are emotionally draining which adds to my brain/motivation issues.#adhd
