woke up with vulcanic ash this morning in the house. mother nature is furious at the monsters who keeps destroying them in this country but the rest of indonesians are the ones paying for it. disaster after disaster, god save us indonesians.

worldbuilding is one of the constant problems in these shows. by using the same locations we see in every show, indoors, marbles, buildings- it's as if we're watching a theater play instead of what supposed to be "real". a small cast / numbers of extras matters with this too.

juliet & juliet is off to a strong start, the worldbuilding is more convincing than many tgls. they threw money! tokyo-blue's dynamic & their development feels natural, the pacing is fast but they're not in a rush w/ the scenes. neat cinematography.

@raychelltwt 😭 just ZERO payoff. might as well don't divorce them it's just so unsatisfying. like why should i watch them stretch the divorce until ep 12 to get *that*? It should've happen in ep 9/10 so their resolution would make sense and not rushed

finished ilf and i hate when they separate the characters and do a time skip but it felt like nothing has changed, they didn't even let us really grasp that two years has passed. didn't feel anything sadly. ilf had like somewhat decent ~4 eps and it just goes downhill from there
