Gonna leave this here in case someone finds the same one
Even foreigners understand that Russia's demands to give Ukraine the Russian Orthodox Church, to make the Russian language the state language - this is the occupation of Ukraine, this is the destruction of Ukraine by non-military means.
Unfortunately, the US does not understand this. Incompetence or working for Russia? I don't even know what is worse...
For those with conveniently selective short-term memory, let me remind you.
Since February 24, 2022, Russia has launched over 10,000 missiles at Ukraine of nearly every type it possesses: cruise, ballistic, aeroballistic, anti-ship, tactical, and strategic. On top of that, over 50,000 kamikaze drones, mostly Iranian-provided Shahed-136s..
Dozens of massive strikes targeted power plants, substations, combined heat-and-power facilities. The result: an entire country plunged into freezing darkness.
The winter of 2022–2023 became a national trial by ice and fire. Ukraine had exhausted its old Soviet air defense stocks. The country stood on the brink of total blackout and societal collapse.
Hundreds of civilians were killed in this punitive campaign of “freezing the khokhols to death.”
Nearly all thermal and hydroelectric plants were destroyed. One day, amid countless other war crimes, a Russian missile strike deliberately leveled a children’s cancer hospital (!!!!) in central Kyiv.
And still, every day and every night, missile and drone strikes rain down across Ukraine, killing people by the dozens, burying them beneath the rubble of their own homes, consumed by fire.
How anyone still has the sheer audacity and moral rottenness to open their filthy, festering mouths and talk about how Russia will now deliver "retaliation" to Ukraine -- for the destruction of missile-carrying bombers -- is something I will never be able to comprehend.
peace time: deploying fiber internet takes days per mile and will cost you $60k
war time: fiber internet is flying at you at 40mph for free. there's nothing you can do to stop it
@victorbayas@tan_stack We use i18next with like 4 namespaces and 14 localizations. It’s pretty good, only loads the necessary namespaces as needed. All translations are ts files too, so you will never miss adding a key to a localization
@warren_tt@JackieWicks@franklin_w_dixn@Cernovich I put 30k miles on an old bmw beater over the last year and a half. Only oil changes, one vacuum leak and that was fixed by a trip to autozone.
Our people are free. Our people are home.
Today, Ukraine has brought back 205 warriors. Young and older men from almost all types and branches of the Armed Forces. Defenders of Mariupol and the entire front line.
They have been scattered across many Russian regions, imprisoned within a system whose only purpose was to torment them and destroy their humanity.
We have brought them back. I am grateful to everyone who worked on this exchange. I thank our partners – first and foremost the United Arab Emirates – for their mediation and support. I thank all those who do not stay indifferent and continue to speak out about Ukrainians in captivity.
Every day, we fight for our people. We will do everything to bring each and every one of them home.
