"You no longer need to write prompts."
In just 38 minutes, he explains how to use ChatGPT at a level that most people can't even imagine.
It's a talk he gave to Stanford students. A friend sent me the recording last night.

Researchers with greater scientific impact are less happy.
The reason is that they suffer from worse work-life balance. All work and no play, makes academics miserable.
However...scholars who are having a prosocial goals and creative engagement are not unhappy.
The key is tenure (or job stability). It allows academics to pursue altruistic goals and creativity under the pressure of creating high impact work. This is why creating job stability is crucial for ensuring impactful work without burning out the academic workforce.
I definitely feel this in my own work. The more I'm able to do the creative work that is genuinely interesting and meaningful to me, the greater impact I'm able to have while still enjoying my work. And I've really leaned more and more into my own interests after tenure.
