This is one of the deepest truths that most people won’t fully grasp until it’s too late.
We treat time like it’s an unlimited balance we can dip into whenever we feel like it.
But it’s not.
It’s draining silently every day
and when your health declines, it doesn’t just drain faster, it becomes less usable.
What's a weekend worth if your body aches?
What’s retirement worth if you're medicated and immobile?
Health is the multiplier of time.
It’s not just about living longer
it’s about making your time count while you’re here.
The real flex isn’t dying rich.
It’s being able to sprint, hike, play, love, focus, and feel fully alive at 70.
And that doesn’t happen by accident. It happens by priority.

I think one of the biggest miscalculations people make in life has nothing to do with money.
It’s assuming time is abundant.
We plan like we’ll always have “later.”
We delay hard things. We postpone health. We defer quality of life.
But time doesn’t compound the way money can. It shrinks.
And when health declines, the usable value of time shrinks even faster.
That’s why taking care of your health isn’t a luxury or a vanity project.
It’s a way of respecting the most finite resource you’ll ever have.
For decades, so many research studies have used sedentary “healthy” individuals as controls. However, the real controls are physically active individuals. Humans are born to be active. Being sedentary has been the intervention of progress…IMHO it’s time to re-think this concept
For me, it's never okay to betray a friend. Not for any amount of money, power, sex, or fame.
Great lifelong friendships is one of the most awesome aspects of our time here on Earth.
Earth's climate is written in the past, with cycles of glaciation lasting up to 100k years with 10k to 14k year interglacials. We're at the end of the Holocene interglacial & must prepare for ice cover on half of Europe & most of North America. CO2 can not cause global warming.
"If you invite someone into your home and they start breaking things and insulting the decor, you don't have to hate them, but you wouldn't invite them into your home anymore. Boundaries are doing the same thing except your home is your mind. Your home is your heart...."
@DrSeanOMara@dralsears@KenDBerryMD@moreyraortho@SBakerMD How do you reconcile citing a study that shows the benefit of endurance sports when it comes to muscle retention in elderly athletes and in the same post recommend that people stop running/jogging?
@DrSeanOMara@YouTube https://t.co/wAGnWQ7eMs "study shows that life-expectancy for Olympians varies by event with high-jumpers and marathon runners living longer than discus throwers and sprinters.", "There was no survival benefit for sprinters compared to the general population."
@DrSeanOMara @Besmissen @YouTube Escape threats? When was the last time you out sprinted a hungry lion, tiger, wolf? Again there is nothing wrong with sprinting but don’t debunk the benefits of distance running. They are not mutually exclusive.
@Besmissen @DrSeanOMara@YouTube Hmmmm. “The persistence hunt. The procedure is to run down an antelope, such as a kudu, in the midday heat, for up to five hours and a distance of up to 35 km (22 mi) in temperatures of as much as 42 °C (108 °F).“
