@4thxjuly @GBNEWS Les, for balance, EVs are also subject to MOTs, parking fees, speed camera fines, windscreen washer and accessories. Road tax starts in 2025 (in some cases higher than ICE cars), VAT is paid on electricity, and ULEZ is not charged on all ICE cars. Congestion charge in 2025 too.

@truemagic68 @CeeMacBee Hi David, EV charging points have now reached 60,000 in the UK, a 135% increase since April 2023. And my wife switched to an EV from a same make ICE and the insurance dropped. My daily commute cost has dropped from £140pm to £20. So not all bad!
