"Paige is a fun-loving kid who does play basketball for the joy of it. Not from the adulation that comes with it. She's playing for her teammates and she plays for the love of the game"

Some days it's your turn and some days it's not your turn.
You don't always win."
Success in sports is a continuous process.

As adults, we need to stop 'stealing the struggle' from our kids/players. When we 'steal the struggle', we steal their opportunity for growth & learning.
We need to prepare them for the path (teach resilience and confidence), but we can't prepare the path for them.

"What's your purpose for your practice? I practiced to be the best ever. So, every time I walked on that field I had a purpose for my practice."
