@RubinReport I’m not normally a tequila guy…but my local purveyor of fine Mexican cuisine shared a shot of Don Julio Reposado with me as I was waiting for my order…I can see why you love the Reposado…it’s surprisingly awesome.
@RebeccaSlatkin Exactly! Europe has lotsa smart people; they can do it…iPhone competition would be better competition. Build a better device and prove Apple has got this all wrong.
@gittower Answers: yes, and SSH (oh, and thanks for the tutorial on setting up Tower to work with SSH…otherwise the answer to Q1 would have been “no” 😉).
@vasisht@john_arends True story: I once (accidentally) let a fart rip in a Duncan Donuts. A friend, who was with me at the time, said that something really smelled terrible and I said it was probably my dog…even though I’ve never owned a dog. By the bye, I really love dogs.
If you love @gittower and @1Password …and I do…this is a really great how-to for getting code signing to work. Just so cool to have SSH keys in 1Password…and then use Tower to sign code commits using those keys!
@DeepDishSwift Was thinking of submitting a talk idea…but not sure it's any good. Basically, it'd be how to setup an AWS Lambda API—in Swift—that uses Vapor's MySQL package to talk to Amazon's RDS DB. It's be a mix of Swift/AWS, SwiftNIO, API Gateway…any interest in that?
@john_arends Really? Um, I found it less disgusting than people say it is…I think a part of the Malört mystique is for everyone to exaggerate how awful it is as proof of their inner strength. Just the same, it's not something I relish or would choose to drink again.
@keverzoid Sorry to say that the Wiki disagrees with you as regards that specific lyric (I do approach the Wiki with some skepticism but, in this case, it seems fairly well-researched). Nevertheless, I also believe that a preference is a…well, a preference. You're allowed to have your own.
@john_arends A Rebecca Black poster? The phone numbers/email addresses of every European school administrator that thinks you're the parent of one of their students? I think these would be the greatest gifts a person could give you.
