@carlafrancome I took the Victoria Line home late one Friday when we stopped in a tunnel for several minutes. A guy from a chatty group offered to teach any willing volunteer Salsa Dance. So many eyes down, and he called out my bemused smile. Livened up the trip.
@carlafrancome @kat_1701 I clocked two guys following me down my street one night some years ago, swiftly deciding I'd get into the road and make a noise.
A terrible night, but noise and visibility brought out many helpers who even detained one of the assailants.
Take the road!
@carlafrancome I did the autopilot thing onto Baker St Jubilee/Bakerloo for the last Tube one night. Still don't know how I managed it, although relaxed after a drink. Made it home!
It was a BIG night tonight, the launch of London Cyclingโs report, โWhat stops women cycling?โ
1000 women were surveyed about the abuse they face on bikes in the capital, and the results are astounding.
9 out of 10 women have faced aggression or abuse on the road.

"I felt free" - congrats to Southwarkโs Deputy Mayor @Naima_Ali01 riding a bike for the first time! Over 40% of suitable areas in @lb_southwark are now Low Traffic Neighbourhoods plus the new C4 cycle lane, so lots of safe places to explore ๐ https://t.co/8NtSS5OrNe
Thank you everyone campaigning for cycling in London ๐๐๐ today was a blast! Sign up to https://t.co/aKc7lUx75a for heads up on future get togethers
@StormontCyclist I live by a similar junction and see many, many motorists do this. A lot are fully right of the centre line as they turn right. Hopeless.
๐จ BREAKING: We hand-delivered cycle-lane bollards to the Kensington & Chelsea Customer Service Centre to hammer home how there are no protected cycle lanes in the whole borough.

@OneEyeGrey And another this (Sunday) morning at Medlar St junction. I'm aware of four serious collisions in the last 3 weeks on a short stretch of road.
@theeyecollector Like the people who stop their car two feet out from the kerb 'cos "I'll only be a minute" and sit there on their phones, oblivious to the chaos they're creating all around.
