I’d sure prefer a breakdown of each of the CURRENT cases (from travel, in isolation, etc) in the reporting instead of the increasingly useless “total number of cases historically”, which really only serves to distort the much more relevant data.
Hey @nshealth any chance of that?
Try to do something this week to help someone else in a way that has nothing to do with politics. It will make you feel better. And it will be a small but measurable step in helping heal our world.
@getClearalias Any idea of when your service will be back up and running. Currently our systems are compromised due to the outage. Need to be able to communicate to our customers.
By a vote of 51 to 49, the Senate refused to subpoena witnesses in this impeachment trial.
I've never heard of a trial where you don't have witnesses.
This is a sad day in American history.
We all knew it would happen but I am still shocked. 49-51, witnesses will not be heard. I am disenfranchised with the whole system. Partisanship is leading to the decay of democracy.
At ~$60M of revenue:
Workday: 54% software/ 46% services
Veeva: 53% software/ 47% services
At ~$800M of revenue:
Workday: 78% software/ 22% services
Veeva: 81% software/ 19% services
Professional services are sometimes needed to scale software revenue with enterprise customers.
@mulegirl I did user research to discover why many researchers like PDFs. A consistent screen and print experience, annotation tools, compact layout (especially for printing), poor experience with HTML layouts and ease of reading offline were some of the reasons.
Things to look for in a code review: Code is...
- Well designed
- Readable by others
- Doing what the author intended
- No more complex than needed
- Not degrading system code health
- Commented with the why vs. what
- Appropriately tested
- Sufficiently documented
A quick thread here to wrap up what has obviously been a tumultuous week in media/broadcasting in this country.
On Monday, after doing a radio segment on Don Cherry, a listener emailed into our station and asked if there was a way “to remove people like Ian from our country.”
Call me radical, but maybe instead of setting ablaze hundreds of millions of dollars on multiple plutocratic, long-shot, very-late presidential bids, we instead invest hundreds of millions into winning majorities of state legislatures across the United States?
Just a thought!
So sad to read this 😢. Whenever I read about a software service I like hopping on the venture capital train to unicorn-ville, I fully expect them to go to shit. 1PW now need to beome a many billion dollar company OR DIE TRYING. That usually lead to desperate/shitty decisions.
False stories are being reported that a few Republican Senators are saying that President Trump may have done a quid pro quo, but it doesn’t matter, there is nothing wrong with that, it is not an impeachable event. Perhaps so, but read the transcript, there is no quid pro quo!
