@rigbylab's lab from @VAInstitute came to visit @CryoEM_PNCC for some data collection. They got to work with Harry, another PNCC SPOC, who was able to get them 3 structures in different conformations in 3 days. Productive visit!

The structural mechanism of TRP channel temperature gating is uncovered and critically involves membrane lipids. We propose that the temperature sensor is the transmembrane domain.
