6 months ago, Akshat stepped into the gym—skinny, unsure, but determined.
Today? He’s stronger, more confident, and proof that anyone can transform with the right plan.
Here’s how he did it, balancing fitness & studies without excuses. (THREAD) 👇"*
The Arnold press is honestly one of the most overrated, useless exercises out there.
People only do it bcz Arnold did—forgetting he was on hormones and would have built massive delts no matter what experimental variation he tried
.
Everyone claims it hits all three heads of the shoulder, but biomechanically, lateral and rear delts require completely different joint actions and movement planes.
Train smart: ignore the unnecessary rotation,
stick to standard overhead presses, and overload your shoulders safely with real weight.
Why does Arnold press feel so damn hard even with 40kg? 😭
I genuinely love this exercise though.
I challenge you to do your set without making a single facial expression.
Let's see who breaks first. 😂
Yes yoga’s great.
But I coach a lot of women who’ve been doing it for years and still can’t do a proper squat or pick something heavy off the floor without rounding their back.
Two days of lifting (squats, deadlifts, rows, presses) changes that pretty fast, especially after 30 when bone density and muscle start dropping. Do both if you can
@kharma_7@DeanTTraining@Emmachuuks@KingiJosh I honestly don’t understand the logic behind maxing out on isolation exercises like preacher curls.
If you truly want to build bigger biceps, focus on moving heavy weight with weighted pull-ups or heavy rows.
Why ego-lift on an isolation movement and risk tearing a bicep?
@ThenNowForeve this is actually one of the worst ways to start your day.
Pav is maida, the gravy is loaded with oil, and that farsan on top is deep-fried.
