Nasra Ahmed, a 23-year-old US citizen, was arrested and detained by ICE. She was held for TWO DAYS.

ICE agents handcuffed her, called her a racial slur, and she was knocked to the ground so hard she got a concussion.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a major winter storm for the Jersey City area this weekend. Forecasts indicate 6 or more inches of snow from late Saturday through early Monday.

What You Should Know:
- Snow expected to begin late Saturday and continue through early Monday AM
- Conditions may mix with sleet or freezing rain, especially Sunday evening
- Cold temperatures expected - this will be one of the coldest coastal storms in a while
- Hudson County has declared a Code Blue Alert through February 5

How to Prepare:
- Stock up on essential supplies including food, water, and medications now
- Check snow removal equipment and approved de-icing supplies
- If you have plans to travel Sunday - change them. Stay off the roads
- Move vehicles off streets prior to Sunday
- Charge devices and have flashlights ready in case of power outages

The City is actively monitoring the storm and preparing our response. More information will be shared tomorrow.
