Dear Members,

We are pleased to inform you that GACOPA was ably represented at the recently concluded Physician Assistants for Global Health (PAGH) Conference held at St George’s University of London, United Kingdom. PAGH is a respected caucus under the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), bringing together global stakeholders committed to the advancement of mid-level healthcare professionals in global health.

Our President, Austin Oduor Otieno, delivered the official closing remarks of the conference under the theme "One Cadre, One Voice." He gave an overview of GACOPA’s global activities and emphasized the importance of unity and standardization of Clinical Officers, Physician Associates, and analogous cadres worldwide.

During the conference, GACOPA received overwhelming interest from students from various institutions eager to be part of the global body. In response to this momentum, we are pleased to announce an upcoming collaborative framework between GACOPA and IFPACS to formally strengthen our global student chapter.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to the PAGH leadership for their hospitality and partnership, particularly:

And the entire PAGH organizing team.

As preparations intensify for the 5th GACOPA International Delegates Conference to be held at Aston University, Birmingham, UK (August 27–30, 2025), we look forward to furthering this spirit of collaboration and global unity.
