On a positive note, people seem to be receptive to it. So maybe this is the way we will actually get something new and original for Star Fox with a broader appeal for the general public.
Star Fox 64 is one of my favorite games, but it did *not* need another remake. Especially one that reduces the original's charm with realistic character models, a new script and the removal of any ambiguity from the story. Why not make something new?
I'm all for the attempt of reviving the franchise, but just remaking the original with worse qualities (in my view) is not the way to go. Games industry is so scared of making anything new.
@WinkySteve Honestly? Yeah, this looks much better and more like the game I would have liked to see. But I think it's commendable you guys tried something new and bold, nowadays no one wants to take risks
