For the first time in Nepali political history a former Prime minister and Home minister have been arrested to face accountability for deaths of protestors, this was done as per Karki Ayog report along with Jaheri of the family members of those killed and injured in Bhadra 23 massacre. I didn't think their arrest would happen this quickly. Both UML and NC shouldn't react with protests but trust our judiciary, both will be presented to district courts for "myad thap" and if the judge doesn't find strong evidence to hold them they may be released. This has set a strong precedent and hopefully in the future any PM and HM will be very careful while deploying force against the protesters. No this is not political revenge, this is basic accountability.
