I keep seeing site migration screw ups. It’s painful to watch 69% of your traffic drop because you forgot something.

So I built this.

@shawnrubel @lilyraynyc Agreed. Especially since December

[Lily Ray 😏 @lilyraynyc]

This stuff boils my blood. Too many people being lied to and deceived right now.

[Rishi Lakhani @rishil]

@kensavage @AndyBeard @lilyraynyc lol just saw your reply. Snap

[Rishi Lakhani @rishil]

@AndyBeard @lilyraynyc Someone should create a chrome extension that clicks that by default

If you run a portfolio of sites, how do you decide where to put your effort?

There is a true Marketing Framework for that. Reintroducing The BCG Matrix

Successful affiliates do not play checkers, they play chess. Not building a plan, or creating a strategic framework for you affiliate business is the most expensive mistake you might make

AI content is here to stay but for affiliate marketers, it’s not as simple as hitting “generate.”

Let’s break it down and how to stay on the right side of the algorithm.

@levelsio @CollieOleshill Don’t disallow. You want the pages gone. Cc @ViperChill

[Rishi Lakhani @rishil]

@ViperChill It’s a shame. Community was the biggest thing for Moz.

@CyrusShepard Just ask reddit

[Advanced Custom Fields @wp_acf]

We have been made aware that the Advanced Custom Fields plugin on the WordPress directory has been taken over by WordPress dot org.

A plugin under active development has never been unilaterally and forcibly taken away from its creator without consent in the 21 year history of WordPress.

PROUD HUSBAND POST!

Yesterday @VickySimmance pulled off a blinder of an event.

Completely organised by her, from start to finish. Ran per the plan with over 100 people being entertained, fed and watered.

Epic job done.

Big thanks to @thetafferboy, Becky Simms, @Rach_Marshallx, @HathawayP and @CrystalontheWeb for joining us on stage.

[Cyrus Maxx @CyrusShepard]

As someone who has run dozens of business websites on WordPress over the past 15 years, never once had it occurred to me the risk that @photomatt could disrupt that experience—on a whim—because of a personal beef with my hosting company ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

[Rishi Lakhani @rishil]

@pootlepress What about affiliates, e-commerce (shops), bloggers, influencers

I know it’s semantics but people see themselves in those categories and each have different needs.

I work with a range and their needs from WP differ widely.

[Rishi Lakhani @rishil]

@jonoalderson Sorry. But I have to fund my bad habits somehow.

[Rishi Lakhani @rishil]

@thetafferboy 😂

Heads up. @Zendesk is a scam organization, and you should avoid them at all costs.

I need to cancel our plan, but there is no way I can do it myself. They force you to contact support.

That feels illegal... but ok, I used their chat on April 30th which was a total nightmare to navigate and eventually got to the point where they were going to get a human on the case to help me cancel.

Seven days later, on April 6th, I received a response from an agent that did NOT grant my request to cancel but instead says, "To better assist you with this, may I kindly ask for your reasons behind this decision?"

Ugh. I explain that we have switched to another product.

No reply.

May 30th, my recurring billing kicks in again for $358.

I reply and complain that I was trying to cancel but they didn't get back to me.

NO ONE REPLIES TO ME.

My renewal is coming up again, and I still haven't been able to get off this software.

I should be compensated for so much time wasting.

Can this be brought to the FTC?

Anyway, don't use Zendesk.
