ED, Lucknow has conducted search operations on 16.07.2026 at 16 premises located in West Bengal, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and other locations under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 against an organized syndicate allegedly involved in facilitating illegal infiltration of Rohingya and Bangladeshi nationals into India, arranging forged Indian identity documents such as Aadhaar Cards, PAN Cards and Passports and subsequently rehabilitating them in different parts of the country. During the search operations, unaccounted cash amounting to approximately Rs. 40 Lakh and gold weighing about 180 grams, apart from various incriminating documents, digital devices, bank records and other evidences relevant to the investigation, have been seized and the statements of key persons were recorded.
