Haven’t played this game in awhile…things my patients have said to me recently:
1) “How did you get a job in a hospital being only 13 or 14 years old?” Then later, “are you sure you’re not 13 or 14?”
2) “You’re a teenager! You should know how to work the tv!”
Things patients have said to me in the last 72 hours:
1. I’m going to kill you you skinny a** b****
2. You drive pretty good...for a girl
3. You’re awesome
My clumsy self hit the back of my neck on a thin ledge at 2am last night at work and made myself start blacking out. Luckily, we were already in the ER. I vasovagal-ed myself🤦🏼♀️
Things patients have said to me recently:
1. You drive like Steve McQueen
2. I thought you were a boy
3. Is there anybody bigger than this tiny little girl who can help
So like what do they think is going to happen? Like covid is going to disappear into thin air if we wear masks for 3 months? Or do we have to wear masks forever? Genuinely confused
I was driving the ambulance the other day & the medic was in the back with the patient. This lady told the medic that she was angry at me cause I was hitting turtles & “she could feel it.” I didn’t hit a single turtle !!! I am not a turtle murderer!
My parents keep telling me their cat is crazy aka Devil cat and I’m like ‘yeah, okay, sure.’ No. This cat is a direct descendant of Satan! I was in the middle of a test when he walked across my keyboard and submitted my test early😡

Worst I ever got was Roseanne...when I was wearing a name tag.
What's the biggest problem you have with your name?
My biggest problem?
Me: "Hi, I'm Marcus. Nice to meet you."
Business people: "Hi, Marcus. Do you go by Mark?"
Me: "No. If I did then don't you think I'd introduce myself as that?"
