@ElectronixGuru @Protestia Actually, the church serves many functions and not all will have to be done at the same time at 11 o’clock on Sunday mornings. The last verses in Acts 2:42 does not say I’ll have to be done in one service. They actually had their prayer meetings at 3 o’clock daily at the temple

@ElectronixGuru @Protestia I don’t think you can prove that scripturally. Peter preached and 3000 were saved. What we did in the church I pastored was that we saw Sunday mornings as the equivalent of a Billy Graham Crusade. Sunday night was for believers and their edification

and then giving themselves to learning how to please an obey God as a fully surrendered disciple of Christ. Our mission was very simple: Seeker to spirit-empowered Servant of Christ. Seeker to Servant in short. The end result is that the churches job is to make disciples!

@zackland17 @Protestia You guys are all wrong. It’s not a Bethel song. It’s a song by one of the greatest songwriters in church history, Chris Tomlin. My wife and I went to one of his concerts last summer in New York City in Central Park and I was overwhelmed by the spirit of God‘s presence.

@mattvanswol in the resurrected Christ. The Apostle Paul was repeatedly stoned and left for dead until he was finally beheaded by the Emperor Nero. I would encourage you to buy Foxes Book of Martyrs. I wept as I read it as a new believer, realizing just how shallow my faith was.

He or she belongs to life church pastor by Craig Groeshel who’s salary can be looked up on Google. He and his wife Amy are humble people with a fantastic family.
