This achievement would not have been possible without the support of each PROTECT IV site. We value and appreciate your collective contributions to advance clinical evidence of protected PCI, with this randomized trial being the largest of its kind in the history of interventional cardiology.

2025 US guidelines for the management of ACS (STEMI and NSTE-ACS) just released. Insertion of a
microaxial flow pump (Impella) to prevent death in in cardiogenic shock has received a class IIa LOE B-R recommendation. IABP and VA-ECMO are class III for rourine use.

Every American should be skeptical about what they hear. Our job is to be curious. Why did the crowd notice the shooter before law enforcement, whose job it is to look for shooters? Why did it take 8 rounds to ring out before someone returned fire? We can’t get answers because the Secret Service is refusing to answer our questions. The head of the Secret Service got a big fat bonus from Biden. Kimberly Cheatle was a Biden hire and under her watch, the Secret Service has had problem after problem. The FBI tells us the alleged Trump assassin was a lone actor, but we don’t trust the FBI. The same people investigating this assassination attempt produced the Russia hoax and launched a coup against Trump. We were an inch away from tragedy and we deserve accountability, not a cover-up.
