This past Sunday, @88jorgemartin was crowned the 2024 @MotoGP World Champion.
The World Champion for both 2022 & 2023 was @PeccoBagnaia
In 2016, when both these sporting giants were relative debutants in Moto3, they were team members in the @MahindraRacing Moto3 team.
Jorge was number 88 and Pecco was number 21
So for the past three years, graduates of the Mahindra Moto3 team have ruled the MotoGP world championship
Now you can understand why this photograph is a priceless artefact in the @MahindraRise archives!
Thank you Pecco, Jorge for making us so proud
We will always have your back…

What an incredible incredible photograph.
It was taken by British amateur photographer Nima Sarikhani and has just won the Wildlife Photographer of the Year People's Choice Award.

Compounding.
But few people understand how important it is.
Here’s a 2-minute breakdown of the most powerful force in the world:
The Ancient Greeks had two words for time:
1. Chronos = sequential, quantitative time
2. Kairos = fluctuating, qualitative time
Here's why you need to understand kairos...
Be the biggest fan of the people you care about.
Defend them.
Keep the hope alive.
Make them look good.
Catch them when they fall.
Be there when they need you.
Root for them unconditionally.
Help them accomplish their dreams.
A few days ago, I conducted a 100-piece British orchestra, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to perform India’s National Anthem at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, London. This is the largest orchestra ever to record India's National Anthem and it is spectacular! The "Jaya He" at the end gave me goosebumps. Felt great as an Indian composer :-)
I am sharing this historic recording with every one of you this Independence Day - use it, share it, watch it, but with respect :-) It is yours now. Jai Hind.

How to prioritize the important things in life.
Rocks, Pebbles, & Sand:
There's a rather well-known story that I like to remind myself of every so often.
A professor walks into his class and sets a few items out on the table:
• A large glass jar
• A bunch of rocks
• A bunch of pebbles
• A pile of sand
The professor puts the rocks into the glass jar and holds it up in front of the students.
"Is the jar full?" he asks.
They all nod their heads—yes, the jar is full.
Then he pours the pebbles into the jar. He shakes it a little bit and lets the pebbles settle into all of the space between the larger rocks.
Again, he asks, "Is the jar full?"
Smiling, they again all nod their heads—yes, now the jar is full.
Then he pours the pile of sand into the jar. He shakes it a little bit and lets the sand fill every last bit of space between the large rocks and pebbles.
Once again, he asks, "Is the jar full?"
The students realize they've been beaten—yes, now the jar is full.
The professor proceeds to explain that the jar represents your life:
• The rocks are the most important things—your family, dearest friends, health, and basic needs.
• The pebbles are the other important things—your career, looser friends, and hobbies.
• The sand is everything else in your life—your possessions, loose acquaintances, and miscellaneous worries.
The professor makes his two key points:
1. If you only have your rocks (and remove the pebbles and sand), your jar still feels full.
As long as you have your family, your dearest friends, your health, and your basic needs, your life will always feel full.
2. If you put the sand into the jar first, you'll never have room for the rocks and the pebbles.
If you spend all your time worrying about material possessions and low-meaning things, you'll never have time to focus on what truly matters.
I love this story and find value in reminding myself of it often.
It's easy to get caught in the "sand trap" and lose sight of what is important.
Lesson: Focus on the rocks and trust that the rest will fall into place around them.

A 22-year-old follower recently messaged me asking for career advice.
Here are the 5 pieces of advice I shared:
1. Swallow the Frog: This is one of the greatest "hacks" to get ahead early in your career. Observe your boss, figure out what they hate doing, learn to do it, and take it off their plate. Easy win.
2. Do the "Old Fashioned" Things Well: There are simple things that still stand out. Look people in the eye, do what you say you'll do, be early, practice good posture, have a confident handshake. It sounds silly, but these things are all free and will never go out of style.
3. Work Hard First (& Smart Later): It's in vogue to say that working smart is all that matters. Wrong. If you want to accomplish anything meaningful, you have to start by working hard. Build a reputation for hard work—take pride in it. Then you can start to build leverage to work smart.
4. Build Storytelling Skills: World-changing CEOs aren't the smartest or most talented in their organizations. They are exceptional at: (1) Aggregating data and (2) Communicating it simply & effectively. Data in, story out. Build that skill and you'll always be valuable.
5. Build a Rep for Figuring It Out: Early on, you'll be given a lot of tasks you have no idea how to complete. There's nothing more valuable than someone who can just figure it out. Do some work, ask the key questions, get it done. People will fight over you.
Embrace those 5 pieces of advice and I guarantee you'll stand out and be on the right track.
