In a way its good to raise the skill bar to make games again, but this will not stop the hoard of unwashed slopmakers. The verse AI tools make it easier for them anyway. All this does is alienate the exact audience you need in the industry: creatives from another discipline.

Hey Everyone. Our aim is to ship Early Access for UE6 by the end of 2027 and Blueprints will be supported in Early Access and the initial UE6 releases, but deprecated in the future.

Deprecation will mean a feature continues to be available without improvements, then is eventually removed. This timeline will be clearly communicated along with ways to migrate projects to Verse.

We recognize the value that Blueprints brought to UE4 and 5, but we strongly believe that Verse will become a more powerful and capable way to create game logic. We’ve already seen both experienced and new programmers create amazing things with Verse that would be challenging to do with Blueprints.

Just had the tech art wet dream, where there was in fact a magical node that solves all my issues! 'Get Desired Size' is really dumb and barely works, especially with wrapping text, but there is the magic 'Force Layout Prepass' node that takes care of that. Very epic! #UE5

No gaming background is good! Ironically the barrier of what is considered a good game is much lower for a gamer than a non gamer. Years of fake hype culture and slop consumption is to blame here.

@Tuatara_Games Super awesome :) been wrangling around with it for a bit now, trying to get object based distance blending to work with it, since now it will always project down from any height. Any clues on how to fix this? Looking into VirtualPlanes rn, but its tough stuff!
