Dems must weigh the political calculus carefully with student debt relief. It would deliver concrete, life changing results to a part of their coalition that’s slipping away, BUT people who would never in a million years cast a vote for them would be mad. Not an easy call!

2. "address pocketbook issues" but don't actually pass legislation to that effect
3. lose
and inevitably, 4. blame the left after the fact
