Mitchell is just the latest of several more who will get a contract like that in the next 1-2 years. And Mitchell is more accomplished than Booker

@AndrewDBailey His career splits are 41/33/80 and he is not still in his prime lol. There are only so many roster spots for vets at the end of benches. Teams would rather take chances on young players

@NationMffl I wouldn’t give up any Mavs picks but if LAC would give up Kawhi for PJ, Klay, and the 2029 LAL pick, yes. That could be a team with 3 all stars they can ride with for 2-3 years while Cooper Flagg is still badly underpaid. Then in 2030 they have all picks again and can reset
