The "natural" and "normal" language simply disguises the fundamental contradiction between top down imposition and the history, customs and traditions that codification would deliberately destroy.

@Dr_W_E_Bulmer @BGStaniszewski Except that a codified, top down, fixed constitution is fundamentally *antithetical* to our political and constitutional culture, traditions and history. We leave that kind of Rationalism to the French. We like flexibility. And our constitution is mostly written, just uncodified.

Of course the UK has a constitution, the vast majority of it is written, and it fits the country's political structure very well.
