@AndreasSteno I tend to agree.
The comments below, about haters, make me agree also about another opinion I heard few days ago. Musk is now like a Church, he is followed by believers.
Imagine fixing a genetic disease with one IV bag.
Hereditary angioedema causes sudden, suffocating swelling attacks. The new treatment infuses CRISPR straight into the bloodstream, where it edits the broken gene inside you. No lab, no harvested cells.
In a Phase 3 trial of 80 people, one dose cut monthly attacks by 87%, with no serious side effects in the treated group.
One infusion. One edit. A lifelong disease, quieted.
@robin_j_brooks If interest rates decline, accorsong to the usual relationships, gold should go up. This in contradiction to your previous post about gold. Do u think that the traditional position of gold is so broken that even this won't work?
@728marines@robin_j_brooks If that was true, there would not be an agreement that apparently plays in Iranian hands. Prices are lower because everyone is using SPR. SPR is not unlimited and Trump is left with few options than finding an agreement. Which, if the below is true, won't be reached so easily.
Analisi logica. Però non condivido il lato positivo per gli USA. Avrebbero potuto ritirarsi dal MO evitando questa guerra e risparmiando un sacco di soldi. A me sembra solo una sconfitta tout court.
You can accuse me of having TDS, but this a complete and utter surrender.
🇮🇷 Iran gets (compared to pre-war):
- Almost full sanctions relief
- War reparations worth $300 billion
- Complete US troops withdrawal
- US promise not to attempt regime change anymore
- No concessions on proxy groups, missile program or internal matters
🇺🇸 US gets (compared to pre-war):
- Continued negotiations on the nuclear question
🧾 The end result:
- Enormous victory for the Islamic Republic, who has survived the attack and comes out way stronger.
- The Iranian revolution is subdued for now, especially with the $300 bn cash injection.
- The US is essentially forced out of the Middle East (which is a good thing)
- Israel and Saudi will have to take responsibility and negotiate with Iran and potentially create a more stable long-term situation in the ME
So - if Trump signs this, the war will have been a huge win for Iran, but long-term this could be a blessing in disguise for both the US and the Middle East.
@robin_j_brooks That reasoning seems illogical to me. If SK imports from Canada this is possible either because Canada & c. expanded production to offset completely the Gulf cut, or because someone else stays without oil. So the oil shock may not ne bad for Korea, but for other pals it is.
@FalcoPel01@emmevilla In verità dimentichi la Cina. Anzi, si può dire che la Cina stia salvando l'economia mondiale, e pure Trump. L'ultimo punto è quello che mi fa pensare, perché?
@robin_j_brooks Imho, I would stop speaking about oil prices. It looks like Iran wants Hezbollah to survive, Israel does what it wants and it wants to destroy Hezb. US is caught in the middle, uncapable to stop either of them. If it does not manage to stop them, oil will skyrocket.
