@elonmusk No I’ve spent a a good amount of money on this platform as an advertiser. A lot of clicks in traffic. Harder to get people currently in the market for direct response. Need to get an integrated shop up and running. Grok code copy what meta does your team can have it up in a week.
“Mayor Johnson said the city will gauge its success not based on student outcomes, but on added staff & programs.”
This echoes remarks the mayor made at the Economic Club of Chicago in 2023 ⬇️
@AJManaseer I bike in the bike lane everyday. I see a few folks using them, but not many. Dearborn bike lane is well used. Build it and they will come (maybe!?!)
I bought my first pair of @dearborndenim jeans a couple months ago. These are the ones. The denim feels great, a little stretch to them, and their washes are fantastic.
I don’t think it will have the same effect on every single good in service across the board. It will probably come together case by case. With regards to semiconductor manufacturing, it sounds to me like a lot of that manufacturing is being brought back to USA on national security concerns. And something like clothing manufacturing I’m not sure will close cost more or will people stop buying fast fashion because it’s not as cheap people start buying better long lasting products because it’s cheaper on a per wear basis. Ordered from Thailand will probably cost a lot more. Will that then put too much pressure on our local fisheries I don’t know. Sorry to answer your question, some industries will bring manufacturing back to the USA creating jobs, but not increasing revenue. Some industries will continue to import underneath the tariffs raising prices, but also increasing revenue from the federal government. I bet there will even be industries where you will have imports and domestic production competing against each other. It could also be that all the tariffs are just posting up for deal making.
