We're probably going back, but we can't go anywhere.
Our era will be about protecting their attempts to dismantle the progress that was made in the last century or so. It's a more sober mission than pushing for progress but it is an important one. โฎ๏ธ
@CultureWarMyth In my mind it's going to be about protecting yourself and the people around you, and getting more involved locally. It's about building personal and community resilience, regardless of what happens in the federal government.
I'm a broken record on this but a 2nd Trump presidency makes it even more important that big liberal cities become places that build enough housing to accept the internal & international migration they've been pricing out for decades
Nothing really left to do now except make sure that at least the Northeast and its governors and representatives protect the people within their state borders from the depredations of a 2nd Trump presidency. If anyone can weather this in the near term, it's us.
