@CPBH01 What if I told you after Tarion had denied my Year 1 Report & simple claim of Poor Workmanship of Garage Drywall especially in the corner(Picture 1), claiming Garage was an unfinished area. I then discovered on my own it was a 7 Year Major Structural Defect & Tarion WARRANTED it!

I just realized it was the Builder who hired @buildABILITY_CA, not Tarion. I think that may explain why I never got a response after letting the President of the Company know his attempt to warm up my basement had failed. Might it be cause he never checked for proper insulation?
I wonder if Michael Lio .@buildABILITY_CA@ would consider holding his course in my finished basement? This would give him a SECOND chance to remedy the Building Code Violation of my 17 degree basement, after FAILING on his first attempt, then chose to ignore my follow up email?
.@MaritStiles You've also heard many New House Buyers have been at their breaking point because of their poorly built houses & questionable Tarion Warranty Protection of which you are very well aware of! When will you expend same energy to caution buyers b4 they pay a high price?
In Niagara, I heard from health care workers that the system is at a breaking point.
That patients are suffering. Staff are burning out.
Incremental change is not enough. Pushing back against Fordβs cuts is not enough.
We need to form government if weβre going to deliver the health care Niagara needs.
After I had to prove a Year 7 Major Structural Defect that Tarion wouldn't inspect in Year 1, they finally warranted it & Builder repaired. Who holds Municipalities accountable for alleged missed inspections &/or alleged falsifying of Inspection Reports &/or alleged incompetence?
Who needs to drive for hours when I can simply look out my front window and be still be able to enjoy magnificent colours in the first week of November! #autumn
@CPBH01 I myself had trouble finding contractors who would take on jobs. The sole reason I bought a New House was the warranty, not to have to seek out contractors! My Tarion Rep told me they're aware many New House Buyers never get defects fixed even after receiving settlement cheques.

@MaritStiles Sorry @MaritStiles, after years of .@OntarioNDP disappointments re #Tarion, if I had any extra money left after repairing my Poorly Built New House that Builder/Tarion & Gov't including @OntarioNDP walked away from, my first choice would be a donation to hard working @CPBH01 !!
@CPBH01@DavidLe84024617 My Tarion Rep once told me many New House Buyers never bother to fix warranted Building Code violatons/defects even after receiving Settlement Cheques from Tarion. I can't imagine how many buyers have simply covered up their defects b4 selling cause they did not know who to call?

That is a blatant lie in my case. I was told numerous times by my Rep & her Manager & even the Ombudsperson that Tarion COULD NOT/WOULD NOT reverse any of my warranty decisions even though I had provided ample proof, in fact all three kept telling me to dispute it at a Tribunal.

Why did Tarion never inform me of what the Builder said? Four years & one heart attack later Tarion did warrant a Major Structural Defect!

@VedProag I never understood why Tarion would even try to use the excuse I denied access for the Builder on many occasions, when in fact I went out of my way to always make time for the Builder, at their convenience not mine, to repair over 145 defects some still outstanding to this day!
@VedProag@McinnesFrank1@CPBH01 Of course they tried the dye lot trick even after I had 100% proven there were 2 samples WITH THE SAME NAME @ time of choosing & confirmed the Manager DID ask Builder to provide both samples side by side on my counter & confirmed that never happened & then got this silly denial!

Could not understand why she wouldn't help & kept pushing me to something called a Tribunal. I had no idea what the LAT was back then
@CPBH01 Even after I showed Tarion Rep pictures of suspect Insulation in my COLD Drafty basement which I thought were Building Code Violations, NOBODY ever checked, even with a thermal gun. Her 'Tarion' answer was to keep thermostat on Main floor @ 28 degrees so Bsmt would be 22 degrees!
