While working on a new blockchain analyzer I just realized:
Allegedly common use cases for #bitcoin are money laundry, tax-evasion, financing terror. However all major banks in the world still prefer to stick to their old methods and don't like Bitcoin.
Very puzzling. Why?

@murchandamus @2357_is_prime @lopp The name "emulator" is a bit misleading (unintentionally this time).
It doesn't emulate the bolt protocol, with the 1/4 channel limits etc.
The new version I'm working on will be called "simulator", and will also simulate different ways of both active and passive balancing.

@murchandamus I am honestly very interested in exactly *how* lightning would work even better on BCH than on BTC, but i think it is up to @rogerkver to answer what he means with that statement. Maybe it was just misleading or he doesn't know how LN works. Anyone heard anything more about it?
