@FlyingBrussels hi I am trying to book some flights. There is an error message before I am able to go to the payment screen. I have tried to phone the ticket reservation team but they have not been able to get the same price as I am able to get on the website. Anyone able to help
@B0WI3tv@Ericman96@ColstonMatt@notafan_jo That’s why he’s been charged with manslaughter not murder. “He tried to disrupt” and it was this action and his carelessness that led to the guy dying
@Hayo_luke I agree, on the other hand there are ECTs who will thrive in any school they’re placed in - there simply aren’t enough of them. What if ECTs could be filtered into best fit schools - a bit like how the sorting hat chooses houses for the the wizards at hogwarts 🤣
@ShakinthatChalk Disadvantaged secondary students are struggling to get enough sleep as it is. How much learning takes place when the very basic needs are not met.
@missradders This isn’t in my classroom it’s in a coridoor… my classroom doesn’t have displays up yet but I’m going to definitely put a number line on the wall before we get to directed number. Will probably put up a learning map 🙄 (whole school policy) previous - today - future learning
@thestoryofshama@the_badtameez@blixberrie A lot of single mums are using food banks and recieve benefits too. 20 years ago households could manage on 1 income, sadly that’s not the case anymore.
@nastyoldmrpike@adamboxer1 If they don’t have a mortgage, it’ll be energy, food, and petrol. For me these totalled £450 18 months ago. Now costing £800… I think everyone is in the same situation sadly
@_MrLevick My worst nightmare as a secondary maths teacher too! Round to sf when they can’t even round to the nearest 10. I try to use number lines but sometimes I’ll ask what’s the 10 before 36 and the 10 after and some can’t actually tell me.
@secretHT1 We had SLT do “learning walks” this week and then subject leads recieved an email detailing all negative stuff they had seen and not a single positive. What a way to start the year 🤣
@KateJones_teach@MrTeece_ We have a transition model. Year 7 and 8 have a HUMs teacher (eng, history, RE) and a STEM teacher (maths, science, geog). Then additional rotation subjects (pe, music, dt, art, computing, food). Out of a students 50 lessons a fortnight, 40 are taught between 2 teachers.
@KHair_BusEd@KateJones_teach I’ll link you the tweet I sent about our schools solution (not perfect but helps hugely). We have a high number of SEND and PP. The transition is so much better and I feel like we are truly and inclusive mainstream school because of it.
@theriptorn@Miss_Snuffy@stewybabe30 I’m going to guess it’s because if the student migrated after primary school age, how is the p8 calculated? Even then, what proportion of students does this actually apply to?
