"Daniel and I only met over the board once, in New York. He was playing really well back then, if you remember, and we quickly agreed to a draw. But Daniel, as we all know, is, in my opinion, the best streamer, one of the few I actually watched a lot.

What I especially liked about him: whenever he played against me, I would always open his stream during the game. It was always nice because he respected everyone and was a very kind person.

It’s hard for me to express all my emotions in English, I’m very sad about what happened, but fortunately, we have everything we need to remember him.

If I had to describe him in one word, I would say he was the kindest person in chess. I’ve never met anyone so kind. When I met him personally, we talked a lot during Weissenhaus, and I truly understood that he really was a very kind and good person."

@PatBoyle44 UCONN was not the best team period. Got insanely lucky Michigan missed almost every three. Shoukd have lost to Duke. St John’s waxed them twice. At least Hurley was gracious in defeat, for once, after the loss.
