Pro tip: Never order a foley for urine collection in a patient who: 1) does not have urinary tract obstruction and 2) can collect urine responsibly on their own. The practice of AKI= foley causes harm to patients.

#medtwitter Q: Do people use midodrine for sepsis with hypotension in pts w/o cirrhosis, ESRD or known orthostatic hypotension? Like as a vasopressor sparing agent?

@DrBWRobinson Escalation. It seems reasonable to hypothesize that it could work but not evidence based. It was in the context of sepsis with hypotension w/o organ damage, possibly autonomic dysfunction contributing.
