I was gonna sit there but apparently it's Caturday now

[Eric Jones @RockvalePaw]

You gave Kelly such a beautiful life, and I'm so sorry you have to miss her now

[FeelGoodThoughts @feelgoodtale]

Seven years ago, I went to a shelter to adopt the cutest puppy that I’d seen online. He was so sweet. As I was filling out the paperwork, in walked a woman with an adult boxer. She’d found the dog a few days before, reported it to the dog warden, and was planning to keep her, as no one claimed her, but her old cat would have none of it, so she brought this terrified, bony, wormy, scarred up boxer to the shelter. I took one look at her and stopped filling out the paperwork.
I offered to take the boxer, and the staff at the shelter said they wouldn’t even bother with intake if we wanted to make it happen in their office. The woman was hesitant, so I pulled out my phone, and showed her pictures of my nearly 16 year old Boston Terrier who’d just crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I knew in my heart that I needed that dog just as much as she needed me. Vet said she was about 5 years old.
We had 7 wonderful years together. She was loved as much as any dog could have been loved. We had pet insurance, so healthcare was never an issue. She had a good life, but not long enough. Sadly, 20 days ago, my darling Kelly crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I miss her with the kind of heartache that hurts my chest. Here she was just after she came home with me from the shelter. She loved my husband, and she loved me, too.

And this is the last picture I took of her, about a week before she got her wings, with our other girl, Minnie, who has been absolutely lost without her best friend. It was swift and sudden, an undiagnosed tumor up behind her kidneys that bled. We took her to the emergency vet, and would have done anything possible, but there just wasn’t anything. We gave her the dignity that every good dog deserves at the end. We told her how much we loved her, and she quietly crossed the Bridge. We miss her so much.

How often am I supposed to change the HVAC filter if it still looks clean?

[Eric Jones @RockvalePaw]

I never thought cooling connectors would be this interesting to me 😅

[Rohan Tantia @RohanTResearch]

The hidden connectors behind AI Data Centers & Semiconductor Fabs

👉 Cooling infrastructure is becoming increasingly critical as chip complexity and AI computing demand rise.
→ HVAC-R connectors: Refrigeration & chiller systems
→ Jaw-locking mechanisms: Secure fluid connections
→ Quick connectors: Faster maintenance & liquid cooling
→ Test connectors: Pressure, leak & performance testing

👉 Where’s the opportunity?
→ Semiconductor fab cooling & test equipment
→ AI data center liquid cooling
→ Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs)
→ GPU/CPU cold plates & cooling manifolds

I love dogs, and they deserve a home where someone can give them real time and care.

[Baby Doge @BabyDoge]

«I want to pick up the dog from the shelter, but I work too much», «I want to pick up the dog from the shelter, but I rarely come home», «I want to pick up the dog from the shelter, but I'm afraid she'll be lonely at home alone», «I want to pick up the dog from the shelter, but I have cats at home...»

Baby Dogers, love has no "Buts" and barriers, sometimes it's enough just to take a chance and save one life…🐶

[Eric Jones @RockvalePaw]

I would be so distracted trying to pet all of them that nobody would get anywhere

[Bunsen, Beaker, Bernoulli & Brix @bunsenbernerbmd]

Joyful Chaos: First Creek Walk With the Whole Pack

We are now tackling taking all of the dogs on walks and our first couple into the creek were full of joyful chaos. Libby and Lucy have questionable recall, being our new rescues, so we keep them on leash. Lucy (the copper one) appears to have much better recall than her older sister. We did spend a ton of time with Bunsen, Beaker, and Bernoulli on recall so they are pretty trustworthy- Bernoulli most of all. We do have four hands- so we got it done!!

I hate when rescue listings say a dog needs patience without explaining what scares them.

Deion Sanders in the NBA would've been so fun to watch

Deion Sanders says he almost made history by playing in the NFL, MLB & NBA but the Atlanta Hawks said no

[Eric Jones @RockvalePaw]

I hate seeing animals' suffering turned into a business model.

[Dog Desk Animal Action @DogDeskAction]

In the big-brand content machine, suffering can become currency. More distress means more clicks, views, shares & donations.

Animals should never become marketing assets.

Rescue should be about ending suffering, not monetising it.

Know the difference.

I'm so glad they got this sweet dog to safety. Firefighters are amazing

I'd sit through an NBA expansion draft just to see which bench players get protected.

[Eric Jones @RockvalePaw]

Local rescues deserve so much love for caring for the animals everyone else overlooks ❤

[Dog Desk Animal Action @DogDeskAction]

Who will save him when his local rescue is gone?

Is the huge brand promising to save all the dogs coming to get him? Of course not.

It’s the local rescue who knows he’s there. Who knows the streets. Who knows the vet. Who actually shows up.

Lose local rescue & lose dogs

@FastbreakHoops5 I could read old basketball history facts all day

[Eric Jones @RockvalePaw]

I would've just accepted defeat if Zion was on the other team

[Fastbreak Hoops @FastbreakHoops5]

High school Zion was not fair 🔥 He went from 5'9 to 6'3 between eighth and ninth grade, then averaged 36.8 points as a junior at Spartanburg Day, including a 53 point night on 25 of 28 shooting. Back then he played AAU with Ja Morant on the South Carolina Hornets, and Ja was the one most colleges passed on.
