I've updated my Designer Editor Mode plugin for UE 4.25. It's also (finally) out of beta. New features include a proper UI and a preview actor is shown before spawning!
It's still free including source:

NoGraphicsAPI is released (MIT license)!
It's a low-level Vulkan 1.4 wrapper using latest extensions (BDA, descriptor heap, device address commands, unified image layouts) to get as close as possibly to my No Graphics API blog post and SIGGRAPH 26 talk.

@voxraygames Now sure how you calculate your lighting, but would it hard to use the face normals when hit by direct lighting and the soft normals when indirectly lit? Because the soft normals feel nice on the gun when you are in the tower. But outside when directly lit it almost feels broken.
[1/2] I felt like this question deserved a more complete answer than "undefined behavior", so I made a full walkthrough to show exactly what part of the x86 execution differs from the other two, and to demonstrate how you go about investigating an anomaly like this.
@skx_doom I know you don't own the algorithm, but it would be awesome if Epic financially supports a plugin for which they cause its downfall, even when implemented all from scratch by themselves. And I know they don't have to either, it would just be really nice of them to do so.
@skx_doom Not sure why they have not contacted you and asked to collaborate on integrating it into Unreal for a really generous fee. Can't imagine they did not know about its existence.
Hey I made a new thing - it's called Gradientspace Graph, and it's a C#-based NodeGraph Programming system that also supports inline C# and Python "Code Nodes". The NodeGraph Engine is MIT Open-Source and the Editor is Free. More details in thread...
@skx_doom That's really useful, can you explain how you did it? I was just thinking of hijacking one of the unused post process input texture slots and wrap that in a Material Node, but if there is a better way, I would love to know 😀
s&box is now open source — we're pleased to share our .NET 10 game engine source under the MIT license.
Our goal with the play fund, royalty free game exporting and open source are all about giving back to the community so everyone wins.

@skx_doom There is no way someone is making a game with volumetric fog but without your plugin. It is too good, really makes it look/feel more unified and coherent.
