@bitfield Your original statement can be read as "if you use a debugger, you're bad and you should feel bad". It comes across like gatekeeping. The over-the-top reactions are unjustified, however.
Slowly weaning myself off this thing. I've just unfollowed a bunch of accounts that are either on the fediverse or that weren't adding value to my feed.
@hillelogram My answers were hypothetical. My trainer sanitises the kit after we've finished our session (or if one of the other trainers wants to use it, but they tend not to overlap equipment).
No platform is required to let one user pollute the experience of other users. This is what moderation is about, not whether particular ideas are shareable or not.
