For example, pointless use of NHS gowns - radiotherapy on neck last year, 20 sessions, told to wear gown. Closed environment! Took ages (COPD, puffed) and laundered after every 10 minute session. Fourth time, started just taking top off, staff fine with that, time & money saved.

@NHSEngland How about a site where members of the public (aka patients) can post improvement suggestions? Publicise it. You'll get lots of nonsense but if just 0.01% are valid it could be really useful. All those pointless "always done it that way" habits being challenged!
