We need to vote in a govt to protect koalas and stop allowing senseless people taking koala habitat for stupid human beings. Before I vote next Fed Election I will find out who is protecting koalas and support them.
Deborah - most journalists are posting on Blue Sky not this one

[Deborah Tabart OAM (The Koala Woman) @DeborahTabart]

"The 1,262 hectares of native vegetation cleared included critical habitat for 30 threatened species, including the koala and Glossy Black Cockatoo, to make way for a private airstrip, crops and cattle yards."
We need a #KoalaProtectionAct.

Hi Michael, we will really miss you heaps but I think that it's time for a good weekday sleep in and family time for you. ABC Breakfast will not be the same without you but all the very best for your future exciting challenges.

[Michael Rowland @mjrowland68]

Some program news:

I will be leaving News Breakfast at the end of next week.

I love this job but after 15 years of 3am starts, my body is screaming ‘Enough!’ It’s time for a long break before turning to other ABC projects.

Thanks, everyone!

What has happened to Twitter since Iast posted. Reminds me of timewasting TikTok. I will stick with Bluesky that an increasing number of journalists post on.

This is a ridiculous idea as one does not need to carry luggage in Japan. There are multiple companies in Japan that transport luggage from the airport to your hotel and to hotels or your home around Japan. https://t.co/4AXC2RyU6v

Love the dog video. I was looking after a dog recently who saw his refraction in the window of a shopping centre and wanted to go inside. There was a big sigh above that read No dogs. https://t.co/22Pk1X9nNP
