this is the problem with the birthright decision because it actually makes policy makers go 10x more aggressive
so now, if we wanna stop people from giving birth here, we have to stop pregnant women from entering in general
early pregnancies are sometimes not detected, but even for those we can detect, are we going to pregnancy test every single individual that comes in?

so now something that seems insane (more restrictions on birthright citizenship) becomes something that is actually even more prohibitive of women
also, what stops women from, if they really want, bringing a canister of semen and turkey basting themselves during ovulation and injecting it right before they board the flight (can it even travel, idk someone will figure it out i’m sure)
should we stop ovulating women from coming in general? probably safer!
why wouldn’t we just draw the line at all women!
so by allowing this “so-called” win, you potentially might set it back even further for women because of a bunch of different restrictions and policy decisions that could be enacted
