Pakistan is living on loans and we are 4th largest economy in the world.

They don't value the life of their military persons but we do ours. If we kill their 10 thousand soliders then we also had to bear loss of 2-5 thousand military lives as well.

OPERATION SINDOOR was never a full scale war. We have strongly conveyed our message to Pakistan and its terrorists.

"If you do any terrorist activity in India, we will thrash you again."

This was the original message and its well communicated.

-We hit Pakistan with Missiles in its "safe cities"

-We killed 100 odd terrorists on our first attack

-We failed almost every missile and drone attempt from Pakistan

-We destroyed their camps and few air military base

Our message has been proplerly conveyed. Now don't run after a full scale war.

@dmuthuk @Modi26052014 Income made in real estate appreciation is one of the easiest incomes that people have made in India. You buy a property, do nothing for 10-15 years, boom money multiplied. While to make same money through employment, you take so many pains and still pay more taxes as well.

@dmuthuk @Modi26052014 Sir, this is 13K psft, extremely expensive in 2014. RE prices have jumped at least 2X - 3X during the period in most metros. To earn same amount of money through salary in 10 yrs, one will pay 20%+ tax (without indexation).

Don't think 12.5% is bad compared to income tax rates.

Crony capitalist politicians coming together and promising wealth redistribution is the greatest irony.

When they ruled India for 25 years (1989-2014) through motley coalitions, long term capital gains in equity was even exempt for long years from taxation.

Dividend was tax free in the hands of shareholders.

Real estate builders had zero tax for many years if they built large projects with unit sizes below a threshold.

When they had 25 years in power, they didn't see the need for taxing the rich ( read themselves). They were busy finding ways to stash and legalise their personal loot.

Cut to the present. The rich are taxed the highest in two decades. The welfare spend of our country is the highest in our history. So you know where the money comes from. But, more importantly, the money goes to every needy citizen irrespective of caste & religion. There are bigger plans for universal welfare in the pipeline.

So, what are these guys really talking about?

They are talking about intimidating industry, business and the new rich, using the entrepreneurial wealth to create anger among the underprivileged who urgently need speedy progress and promising to play Robinhood if elected.

You know what? India's ordinary citizens are no fools. They vote on their feet. They know who will work genuinely for them. Some may still vote in blocs due to compulsions. But, everyone knows the truth about everything.

Trying to fool the common man with a Robinhood agenda is plain bad politics. It shows lack of ideas and maturity. It is sad that we have such an alternative. That is our real shame.

If the promises are genuine and those making them have credibility, the people would easily recognise them. This election will prove who stands where.
