Looking to connect with iOS/mobile devs and indie builders.
If you're shipping real-time apps, SwiftUI projects, or just building solo, reply with what you're working on.
I'll follow and check it out.
Shipped 19th real-time iOS app. No team, no funding, just Swift and stubbornness.
The #1 mistake I see junior iOS devs make: building UI before they've nailed the data layer.
What's the one lesson that took you longest to learn?
@asaridarr Plaid handles most of it, but for the messy ones I send the raw string to GPT-4 to pull out the real merchant name, then cache it locally so I'm not calling the API every time. Fixed almost all of it.
@asaridarr Auto-read spending over manual logging is the right call, way higher retention. Built something similar myself - Budget Caddie, from scratch. Monetizing before scaling is smart, most people do it backwards lol.
@SoumyajitB6361 Like the on-device AI angle, real privacy edge. Curious how memory holds up long-term without cluttering. iOS dev here, shipped 15+ real-time apps, happy to trade notes at launch.
@adelelecroix Working on cutting cold-start latency on the real-time sync layer, biggest complaint users have with live apps. What's next on your growth roadmap for Talk-To?
@adelelecroix Already following, love the marketing/growth angle, that's the piece most indie devs skip. Building real-time iOS apps here, always down to trade notes.
