This is what happens when you play in Abu Dhabi.. 😳
.
These girls came to request a song to me and my brother.. but nobody expected famous singer from Syria FAIA YOUNAN (@faiayo) to join us with her magical voice 🤯
.
but wait until the end for the EPIC ending featuring @andrewthepercussionist 🥁
.
song : Habbaytak Bissayf - Fayruz
#piano #publicpiano #clarinet #fayruz #fairuz
.
Lyrics :
I LOVED YOU IN THE SUMMER
in the cold days
and in the rainy days
when the pavement is lost
and the street is flooded
comes this girl
from her old house
and he’d leave and forget about her
and she fades under the rain

i loved you in the summer
i loved you in the winter
i waited for you in the summer
i waited for you in the winter
and your eyes are the summer
and your eyes are the winter
and the day we met my love
is far behind the summer and the winter

the stranger passed by
gave me a letter
written by my beloved
with sad tears
i opened it up
its letters are scrambled
and days have passed
and years have split us apart
and the letter’s letters
were erased by the rain
.
