The factory floor scaling rate is clearly moving, but a robotaxi fleet is an entire end-to-end service ecosystem, not just a car. Delays are usually down to optimizing the orchestration software, dispatching, cleaning cycles, and depot management, rather than just building the chassis. I am watching the software versions closely over the next few weeks.

Designing a cool prototype is relatively straightforward, but engineering the actual machine that builds the machine is where the real difficulty lies. The vast majority of people don't realize that scaling a production line is orders of magnitude harder than the initial product design.
