@C__BAS@StewrighSteve@YipStrickler@USGA Oh you don’t understand the system at all do you?
An 11 handicap would be expected to
Shoot a 82 roughly 20% of the time on a course with a 72 rating
@StewrighSteve@YipStrickler@USGA 11 handicap shooting a 38 on 9 is normal. He likely would have shot a 44 on the back for an 82. 11 is absolutely going to shoot 38 on 9 several times a year.
@canofcorn42@ShakerBall_Cap You are way overthinking this. There will quite literally be a line on the CFS titled “depreciation expense” that will add back to net income as you work your way to your final cash flow number.
@canofcorn42@ShakerBall_Cap “Doesn’t touch the cash flow statement” is right in the sense that it’s backed out of the cash flow statement, but wouldn’t receive credit on any accounting exam. It’s explicitly backed out of the CFS in the operating section.
@andrewjcarr29@Top100Rick@GolfCourseGurus Idk or really care about all that I just know it’s been a course whose story has been told by its rough and its bunkers for 30 years now. Thats enough history for me for a course that plans on hosting a lot of big events
@TheGhostofhogan If I ever played with a guy who cared if I called a bunker a sand trap or said I was going to choke up on a club I’d hate that guy so much I’d avoid playing with him in the future.
It’s not that serious, I promise
@AdamSchupak Guy who choose not to play at all despite knowing that playing is the only way to get into more events shocked when he doesn’t get into more events
@Top100Rick@GolfCourseGurus@andrewjcarr29 The Ryder cup version of bethpage wasn’t bethpage, important to remember that. It’s ok for courses to defend themselves with thick rough surrounding generous fairways, and the course was not allowed to do that.
