"Everybody wants to be special.
Everybody wants to win.
But are you willing to do the things you need to do to accomplish that.
Get out of your comfort zone.
Be accountable.
Have the discipline to do things day in & day out."
There is a divide between 'want' and 'willing'.
We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of long-time State Meet Referee and Hall of Fame Coach Ron Whittaker today. Our condolences go out to his family. This is a huge loss for the MO XCTF community and he will be greatly missed.
You might suck as a teammate if you:
Pout/whine
Are lazy, selfish, soft
Repeatedly make bad decisions
Always look for excuses
Force up bad shots
Are untrustworthy
Are a ball stopper
Chill on defense
Never say a word
Blame refs/coaches/teammates
Have bad body language/attitude

2023 Kyle Pock received scholarship offers today from both Lipscomb and Oral Roberts.
This past weekend in KC, he led our #17uEYBL team in PPP average and finished 3rd in scoring (7 PPG) while shooting at a 47-40-83%. He made HUGE shots and winning play after winning play.
At the 1960 Olympic Games, a rail-thin, 65yr old man ran 4 laps around the track, until he collapsed in exhaustion.
He told his 22yr old pupil: “You may run faster than me. But you will not run harder”
The young man would win Olympic Gold in the 1500
Why did his coach do this?
