@RaulBryanBW For a tourist (like me) it's quite nice to not visit a place that is overrun by other tourists... But yes, visiting the Okavango and the surrounding areas is really a must-see. I've done it, travelling from Zambia, would love to do it again.
How could Zambia be among the world’s 5 least attractive jurisdictions for mining investment when over a billion dollars of investment flowed into our mining sector in the last 12 months? We delve deeper into the @FraserInstitute's Annual Survey.👇🏾https://t.co/2RbZZBCHST
Both strong willed democrats given to argue. Makes me wonder are political & developmental skills mutually exclusive? Or is a better combination the dictatorial but brilliant benevolence of Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew? Unbasfully brilliant, unapologetic hush &delivered exceptionally
Last night I captured an 85 megapixel photo of our moon by using two telescopes and two cameras. Check out the details up close! The color is real, but much more subtle to your eyes. Increasing saturation reveals the rich geological history of our moon!

True! Visiting the Falls at this time of the year, is more than something to see, it is literally an immersive experience! Be prepared to be drenched and to love it.
If you enjoy nature and especially water features Vic Falls on either the Zambian or Zimbabwe side is as good as it gets. In April & May the water volume is at its highest & this year the inflow is one of the highest from what I read. A very short drive from 🇧🇼town of Kasane 👏🌍

@SheilaKhama Yes, citizens need to understand the costs and benefits of mining better, break myth of foreign owned companies stealing from the people. Transparency by govt about what is received (EITI) but also how spent by the state...
Unless we avail alternative & sustainable livelihoods for low income groups, poverty will be the unwelcome firewall between us and the battle to eliminate the use of plastic. No motivation to come on board.
The road is long to match China. Even more reasons to support value chain developments in developing countries. Industrial policy is a de-risking strategy! What this space for @IGFMining work on this.
Yes it would be good to read the source material. Stats should be different for some metals (gold, copper, etc.) than for ores (Fe and Mn ores, for instance) that are used as ore in steelmaking, for instance?
