@Pirat_Nation > SKG literally mentions that voluntary guidelines are not a solution
> ECI plans to discuss voluntary guidelines
You srsly can't be more tonedeaf...
@polishedsteeltb@Dexerto Lots of things are a waste of money: seatbelts, cybersecurity measures, audits, X in general, forcing companies to not implement gacha mechanics, etc. Why should money be any consideration?
@mmx4ps1 What's wrong with expecting parents to not know about what their kids are into? It gives excellent insight into gift-giving and practices good rewards. It encourages actually bonding with your child.
Oh right, too lazy to do due diligence.
@neerajjj6785 I'd just stop after Redis. Caching is an actual necessity for ~3s response reqs. Kubernetes is a standardized deployment target, and I'd use 1 MS for for authorization, and the rest on a single service.
All else is fluff.
@TidyWire@RyukoVT_@Jade_shitpost@sebacostamr@SEGA If anything, it is just proof that they shouldn't have disclosed AI usage at all -- even if they have to be dishonest. Specificity doesn't matter in the face of the emotions of ppl who have lost their jobs, after all, and AI is a touchy subject for them.
@RyukoVT_@Jade_shitpost@sebacostamr@TidyWire@SEGA Frankly I don't think that changes anything. Too many ppl will instinctively assume the worst the moment ppl see the word "AI" on it. Also "support tool" is specific enough to have a vague idea of what is being used, but no one checks the details anyway.
@Jade_shitpost@sebacostamr@TidyWire@SEGA Prototypes used during development will easily trip AI Disclosure. Sure recently it's *optional*, but if you think they *shouldn't* disclose that then you're basically encouraging companies to just not disclose AI usage when it's optional.

@Nick_LoGalbo@Object2682@Pirat_Nation It's not expensive to add a bit of money to either:
- release some server binaries that at least gets the game back to a somewhat playable state
- push server documentation to make the game available offline
- stop frivolous lawsuits to people trying to revive ded games
